Speaking in an interview with YouTuber and Battlefield 4 aficionado JackFrags, Visceral Games' General Manager Steve Papoutsis revealed that Battlefield Hardline will include 7 game modes on launch. As of yet, 6 game modes have been confirmed. These are Hotwire,


Rescue, Blood Money, Team Deathmatch, Heist, and Conquest (Turf Wars).There is still one game mode yet to be announced. Some fans were hoping to see a return for Elysium Gold  Battlefield series game mode favourite Rush. However, Steve Papoutsis has revealed on Twitter that Battlefield Hardline will not include the Rush game mode. Although this disappointed those who were fans of the mode, they may find solace in the slight similarities between Rush and the Heist game mode.The news about game modes


was also joined by another announcement. Papoutsis also revealed that on day one, Battlefield Hardline will release with 9 multiplayer maps. One of these is bound to be High Tension, a map that featured in the multiplayer beta earlier this year. Although this may seem like a small number of maps, Battlefield 3 shipped with the same number, and Battlefield 4 launched with 10although that number more than doubled including DLC. Meanwhile, the title is also set to include a single player campaign and eSports modes.
